What was it about rockabilly music that held such a strong appeal to young people in 1950? Why were so strong, the music and why it happened as the defining force in American culture and world culture? And as the music appeal evolved over time? What do fans love modern music as well – if not more – than fans in 1950. I’m not sure these questions can actually be answered, but I’m willing to try it!
It’s easy to point out that the young fans of 1950, he was awfully tired of music that should be available to listen. Country music was (in my opinion) for its magnificent peak during this era, but it was not really music for children. There was plenty of good jazz music happening at the time but not actually move the children. Children were not looking for jazz sophistication. They needed something stronger. Other forms of music also turned out great performances. Neither the blues or rhythm and blues was mainstream enough for the general public.

Believe it or not, rock and roll is about 60 years now. The music could be labeled as “rockabilly” began to appear in the early 50s.
