The Saxophone Instrument

Thank you for showing that the saxophone is an instrument of rock and roll! It recently received a comment after someone watched a video of my saxophone. Two friends were arguing whether the saxophone was even considered a valid instrument for rock and roll.
For me it is a nonsensical question to ask, even, but then when I think about the state of today’s commercial music, radio, video, etc. is really valid.
Now I suppose there are many, many young people do not even consider that part of saxophone and even a place in any modern rock music based trading … no more!
This was true to some extent, even when I discovered the great sound of the saxophone in rock and roll in the early 70s. Surely you’ve heard some dominant groups such as Springsteen, Supertramp and Billy Joel to name a few, but the list is too long.
