The music industry is full of rich artists and producers of music, but what are the richest? Fourth common Curtis Jackson 50 Cent and Brian “Birdman” Williams, both reportedly worth $ 100 million.
50 Cent rose to fame when he was discovered by Eminem and Dr. Dre’s help was one of the rap world’s highest sales. He was part of his fortune by selling his share of Vitamin Water for a fee of nine digits.
Jackson founded his own label in 2003 called G Unit Records, a successful rappers Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo established. Career in music and the man has appeared in movies, or Trying to Get Rich in 2005, the Iraq War film Home of the Brave in 2006, and Righteous Kill in 2008. He has received numerous awards from Billboard magazine, the most notable is that he was awarded the third best rapper of the decade 2000-2009 behind Eminem and Nelly.
Bryan Williams is co-founder of Cash Money Records and is half the rap duo Big Tymers, also had a solo rap career in the early 90′s. It also has a few albums in collaboration with Lil Wayne. Birdman was also involved in oil and gas exploration efforts in 2010 with his brother, though this project seems to be having today.
Third place in the Hip Hop rich list is Andre Young aka Dr. Dre, made millions of dollars of his own successful career and launching the careers of artists like Eminem, Snoop Dogg and fellow Rich Lister Hip Hop 50 Cent. Dr. Dre began his career with Death Row Records, in early 1990 he began his solo album The Chronic and was one of the greatest artists of the music sold in the United States 1993. In 1996, Young left Death Row Records, his label Aftermath Entertainment to start. Young also has a role in some movie “Set It Off, and 2001 films The Wash and Training Day.
Second in the Hip Hop Rich List, Jay-Z, aka Shawn Corey Carter is reportedly worth $ 450 million mass. Jay-Z has made its way to the top by establishing himself as a great way mark, the club’s owners, advertising and more. He has a successful music career, which has more than 50 million albums sold since 1996 and won 13 Grammy Awards.
Shawn Carter, the employer owns the 40/40 Club, part of the New Jersey Nets and has his own clothing line Rocawear. He is founder of Roc-A-Fella Records and Roc Nation, a music publishing and entertainment artists like The Ting Tings, Rihanna, Mark Ronson, among other features.
Number one on the Hip Hop Rich List, Sean “Diddy” Combs, worth $ 475 million fresh. P Diddy, formerly known as Puff Daddy has a clothing line Sean John Clothing, Bad Boy imprint on the world and interest in a brand of vodka, Diageo venture called Ciroc. He is an astute businessman also owns a film production company and two restaurants. Combs also has a career winning musical pick up three Grammy Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards.
