The reason I say this is simply the fact that it can be extremely expensive as you might attend a concert and then discover that you were given very short. As each note is in place and every nuance is impeccable, the voices and artists of this caliber often lack one essential element: the soul!
While many theater performances of Adam growing up in San Diego, is probably what gave him incredible reflexes and wide vibrato, this type of experience may hurt a lot of artists. They are so used to the incredible creation of “great” performances that simply do not connect with an audience of more subtle (or even care if the audience is out there at all).
